๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š Not all heroes wear capes โ€” some wear gardening gloves! ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฟMeet the two incredible women behind St. Paulโ€™s Community Garden, both named Leslie (yes, really!).Leslie Scharfe has been the lead gardener this season planting, watering, and harvesting all summer long to keep this project thriving. Leslie Levere has stepped back from an organizing role but continues to help with the gardening and harvest whenever she can. ๐ŸŒฑA few volunteers came out to lend a hand through the season, but with limited help overall, weโ€™d love to see even more people get involved next year. Whether youโ€™re an experienced gardener or just want to get your hands dirty, this is a wonderful activity for families โ€” kiddos included. ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŒพ๐ŸชดThanks to everyoneโ€™s efforts, the garden produced an amazing 1,137 lbs of fresh produce this season, all going directly to families in our community. ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ…๐ŸŒฝWeโ€™re so grateful for both Leslies and for everyone who helped grow more than food they helped grow hope. ๐Ÿ’š#CommunityFoodShare #CommunityGarden #LocalHeroes #FoodSecurity #GrowingHope #VolunteerWithUs ...
